An 18-year-old Longview man faces felony assault charges after he allegedly punched a woman and broke bones in her face early Friday morning.
Officers were called to the 300 block of Beech Street in Longview at about midnight. According to police, Robert Anthony Krusmark got into an argument with his father's 28-year-old girlfriend.
"He got upset and punched her, causing her to fall back into a piece of furniture and fracture bones in her face," Corporal Tim Watson said Friday.
The victim was treated at St. John Medical Center and later released, police said. There was one child witness to the event.
Krusmark was arrested on suspicion of second-degree domestic violence assault. He will be arraigned Jan. 29.
