Kelso City Council Tuesday will hear reports on the park facility plan, the police department and the library.
The council will also hold a public hearing on the city’s six-year capital improvement program, which designates transportation, water and sewer projects.
The council is also expected to reappoint members of the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee. The current members are Bill Marcum from the Chamber of Commerce, Cindy Keeney from the Highlander Festival, Syed Pasha from Choice Hotels and Tawny Kleider from Frank Hotels.
The City Council will also consider updating its procurement policies and procedures.
The council is also expected to award contracts for:
• Repairs to Old Pacific Highway following land movement under the road. The lowest bid was $157,500.
• Columbia Street water main replacement. The lowest bid was $280,300.
• Tam O’Shanter Park parking and circulation designs. The negotiated fee is estimated to not exceed $178,800.
The council meeting begins at 6 p.m. in Kelso City Council Chambers, 203 South Pacific Avenue.
