WOODLAND — A Columbia Fruit worker was injured Tuesday when a pallet of cardboard boxes fell on her at the Woodland business.

The unidentified woman was transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Washington Medical Center in Vancouver. The extent of her injuries was unknown, but she was awake, conscious and talking afterward, according to Cowlitz 1 Fire & Rescue.

Representatives from Columbia Fruit, at 2526 Dike Road, could not be reached for comment.
