Marilyn was my Eight Grade student in the 1949-50 school year. She was the kind of student teachers enjoy because she was friendly and engaged in her role as student. In my encounters with her since, she has shown the same delightful characteristics. She has been the driving force behind all kinds of class reunions and always went out of her way to visit with my wife and me. It is such a shame to lose her at such an early age.
