William L. “Bill” Fox Jr.
On Jan. 6, 2018, William L. Fox Jr., was suddenly taken from us, passing away in Longview at St. John Medical Center.
Bill Fox served our country in the Navy as a beloved chef for three years, in those years he trekked the globe experiencing pizza from Naples, dancing in Madrid, the drinks of Hawaii, and everything in between. All of this just following his graduation from Toledo High School in 1986.
His career caring for others on deck took him to caring for others while working in the medical field, which the last 15 years of that work was spent with Peace Health St. John Medical Center.
He was infinitely a fan of great music, epic sci-fi, and good football. He had a sense of humor that was contagious to anyone within earshot of his laughter, and his love for his family and friends was something of a wonder.
Bill is survived by his parents, William and Sandy Fox; a sister, Kimberly Manthe; and a nephew, Daniel Fox.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Steven Fox.
A graveside service is planned for 11 a.m. Saturday at Lone Hill Cemetery in Toledo. Viewings are planned from 1 to 5 p.m. Friday and 9 to 9:45 a.m. Saturday at Fir Lawn Funeral Chapel in Toledo.
He shall be missed as much as remembered, and loved even more.
