Donn Boughton, 73, of Castle Rock passed away at home April 4, 2018, surrounded by family after a short battle with cancer.
He was born June 26, 1944, in Jamestown, N.D., to Vern and Adeline (Nazi) Boughton.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Judith (Engel/Zabel) Boughton; their children, Debra (Boughton) Mora, Eric Boughton, Chadd Boughton, Darrin Boughton, and Matthew (Boughton) Lahti; 16 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Donn served in the Navy from 1963 to 1968. He was a chemical engineer for Western Industrial/Allwaste/PSC in Kelso for 35 years. After he retired Donn was a park ranger for Thousand Trails in Chehalis, Wash. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, and most of all spending time with family and friends. Donn was a very loving, caring, and supportive husband, father, “bumpa,” and friend to everyone who knew him.
A celebration of Donn’s life is scheduled for 1 p.m. April 29 at the Battle Ground Community Center, 912 East Main St. Please RSVP Matthew Lahti at Matthew@PNWR.com with the total number of guests and a dish you can bring.
