David Ray Wieberdink, 70, of Kelso passed away Nov. 4, 2017, at home.
He was born May 26, 1947, in Wilmer, Minn., to Arthur Lyman and Cornelia (Sanky) Wieberdink. He attended a rural elementary school in Pease, Minn., and Rancho Alamitos High School in Garden Grove, Calif.
David worked in the shipyards. He also performed masonry, roofing and industrial work. He was a charter member of Outsiders Motorcycle Club in Portland since 1968, and a charter member of the OMC in Tacoma since 1974. David enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, photography, and was the best storyteller. He lived life to the fullest. He was a kind-hearted, passionate and loving man.
David is survived by his longtime companion, Sandra L. Blaine-Garrett of Kelso; and six sisters, Judy Nelson of Portland, Joanne Larsen of Grandview, N.D., Linda Hewitt of Boise, Idaho, Lois Alms of Ferndale, Wash., Rachel Fizia of Huntington Beach, Calif., and Phyllis Flores of Ferndale, Wash.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Roger, Norman, Ronald and Robert Wieberdink.
A memorial service is planned from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Living Hope Church, 2711 NE Andresen Road in Vancouver. A reception will follow.
