What brings thousands of men, women, and children to Washington’s sandy coastal beaches every year, braving weather and surf? The buried treasure known as the Pacific razor clam

Join us at the Columbia Pacific Heritage Museum in Ilwaco, Wash., for a lecture featuring author David Berger as he explores the twists and turns of a quintessential Northwest activity from its pre-settlement days to the present.

The lecture will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30. Doors open at 1:30 p.m..

The event is free thanks to the Humanities Washington’s Speakers Bureau.
