Orientation for people interested in being foster parents takes place from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Feb. 15 in the St. Helens Room of the Kelso DCFS (Department of Children and Family Services) office, 711 Vine St.
Orientation is designed to help guide participants through the licensing process and provide a brief overview on what foster parenting is all about.
Prospective foster parents will meet other prospective foster parents. Licensing application packets will be available. A licensor will discuss the minimum licensing requirements, help with required paperwork and answer any questions.
An RSVP is not required.
