Astronomer to speak to club about witnessing solar eclipse

E-mail this articleA Southwest Washington astronomer, who witnessed the solar eclipse earlier this year in Mongolia, will be the featured program speaker at the next Friends of Galileo meeting. Sean League, owner of Sean’s Astronomy Shop in Battle Ground, Wash., will present slides and a lecture on his July trip to view the eclipse.
The meeting will take place at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Mark Morris High School Learning Center, 1602 Mark Morris Court off 15th Avenue. The public is invited.
